At Wattle Grove Long Day Care Centre, our practices reflect a consistently embedded approach to school readiness, visible from our babies’ room all the way through to our school leavers. We focus on building children’s life and social skills to help them thrive in a school environment, emphasising independence and the ability to communicate their wants and needs. Our learning spaces are enriched with printed text, and every room engages in thoughtfully planned core learning experiences that support children’s development at every stage.
School Readiness
Our Team liasses with local public schools to implement kindergarten inspired school readiness program by creating a structured, nurturing environment that builds foundational skills through play based learning, early literacy activities, and social emotional development.
Aboriginal and Indigenous Program
WCS embeds Indigenous and Aboriginal perspectives by beginning each day with a Acknowledgement of Country and integrating stories, art, and learning experiences that reflect local First Nations cultures.
Daily Learning
Our team has extensive experience in landscape design, and we have completed many projects of varying complexity.
